Propane water heater & stove/oven.
No air conditioning – 4 ceiling fans
Attached to one other unit (not lived in full time)
Located in a gated community with 24/7 security
Community includes four swimming pools & many common areas.
Near Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico on the shores of Lake Chapala
Lease term – 1 year – first & last month rent + 1 month security deposit required on signing.
Rent – $11,500 pesos per month
Included: high speed internet, garbage, grounds maintenance/HOA fees
We pay: propane & electricity
Small stores within walking distance
Less than half the units are lived in full time.
We found this rental through Facebook, using groups. I (Sandra) searched and joined various groups associated with the Lake Chapala area and found this rental listed in one of those. Here are some of the groups that may be helpful for this area:

In addition, I found realtors in the area by searching Google with terms like “Ajijic Real Estate” “Lake Chapala Real Estate”

Thank you for taking the time to post this video and information. We are retired and currently live in south Texas but are soon planning to visit Ajijic to see if we like the area. We will be looking for a long term rental like you found. It seems like you are about 6 to 12 months ahead of us in the process so we will be following your posts closely.
